Trauma Informed
“Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) is the single greatest unaddressed public health threat facing our nation today.” - Dr. Robert Block, Former President of The American Academy of Pediatrics
The Crow HEAL Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and NYC-based Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Initiative. We are committed to increasing public awareness of ACEs and bridging the gap between ACEs Science and medical practice. We are promoting policies and practices that prioritize the well-being and empowerment of individuals affected by trauma. By engaging with stakeholders across sectors, we aim to foster a comprehensive and inclusive network of support, ultimately transforming the landscape of care in our city.
Our Mission
To transform New York City's healthcare landscape by integrating ACEs science into medical practice, while fostering resilience through arts-driven programs and community development initiatives. We strive to build equitable, thriving communities through strategic approaches informed by urban planning and economic development.
Our Vision
A world where healthcare integrates ACEs science, fostering empathy and healing. Communities thrive through trauma-informed approaches that empower individual growth and collective resilience.
