About Us
Welcome to The Crow HEAL Project, a visionary nonprofit and 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to increasing public awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and revolutionizing healthcare. We stand at the forefront of addressing the critical gap in ACEs Science and medical practice through cutting-edge research and educational initiatives. Our mission extends beyond conventional boundaries, encompassing innovative economic development strategies to empower communities. Embracing an arts-driven approach, we offer survivor-centered programs that harness the transformative power of creative expression, fostering resilience among ACEs survivors.
Through our advocacy efforts, we seek to influence policy changes at the state level, ensuring that trauma-informed practices and ACEs screenings become standard procedures in healthcare. By doing so, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families, breaking the cycle of trauma and building a healthier future for all New Yorkers.
Overall, our goal is to make New York a leader in trauma-informed care, where every individual is equipped with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to overcome the effects of ACEs and live a fulfilling life.
Join us on our journey toward a world where healthcare embodies compassion, understanding, and healing, grounded in ACEs Science and driven by the transformative force of the arts.
What We Do
Our mission pulses with transformative impact in healthcare. Guided by our commitment, we educate and equip clinicians and healthcare entities to adeptly screen, respond to, and prevent ACEs, rewriting the narrative of trauma-informed care. At the heart of our endeavor lies our groundbreaking EER model—Education, Endurance, and Resilience—which stands as a beacon for ACEs survivors. These innovative programs, pulsating with dynamic arts-driven activities like music, dance, STEM, sports, and more, serve as a powerhouse for healing, resilience, and the triumphant reclaiming of lives.
